ONE OF THE DEMOCRATS WHO VOTED FOR BUSH'S ELECTRONIC SURVEILLANCE

The 41 Democrats who voted yes to Bush"s extension of electronic surveillance without any court oversight are to be pitied. They voted to increase the power of the executive at the expense of oversight of the congress. Why? Because they are so afraid of being called soft on terrorism that they surrender the people's constitutional rights and protections under the Fourth Amendment.

Included in the 41 is the representative from the Second Cong. Dist. in Utah, supposedly representing me, Jim Matheson. This guy votes for and with Bush on every occasion, such as for the Bush budgets, tax cuts, against gay marriage, for the war in Iraq, against bringing the U.S. military forces home, against undocumented immigrants, against the small guy in bankruptcy, and on and on.
